A variety of Washi paper, handmade papers, other natural fibers, paint, and embellishments are used to create traditional Japanese theme art with a contemporary feel. These unique Asian style two dimensional collages can invoke either a sense of serenity or convey good cheer.

Origami (folded paper) and kirigami (cut paper) are used with the washi to start a design. Washi is Japanese handmade mulberry fiber paper with silk-screened images applied by hand. Many washi papers use designs from traditional kimono fabric patterns in Japan.
