Art with Texture
Michele’s mixed media collages use Japanese washi, art papers, leaves, bamboo, paint, and threads. These original pieces have traditional themes with a contemporary touch.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, she doodled her way into studying graphic arts in college. Her extensive travels, the environment, and the mood she wishes to evoke are her inspiration.
Michele has attended cultural festivals, fine art shows, and exhibitions throughout the U.S. since 1990.
